This is the story of a couple of hardworking visionaries who felt the need to create a different kind of store – one that would bring all the most inspiring elements of entertaining together under one roof. And then display them in a warm and welcoming environment, so that customers could easily visualize and experience all the unique and exciting ways to play up their homes. And so, GreatGatherings was born.
While something entirely fresh and innovative in retail, our store has its roots in a 20-year tradition of masterfully crafting beautiful billiard tables with an unyielding dedication to detail. You see, this is where our founders cut their teeth, so to speak. At first, they spent their high school summer vacations installing billiard tables. Eventually, they developed and perfected their own construction processes (now unparalleled in the industry) and began manufacturing their own line of tables under the name American Heritage Billiards.
Their customers, eager to have additional furnishings in their homes to complement their billiard tables, inspired them to create complete game room collections with coordinated finishes and fabrics. Today, the company has evolved into a world-class manufacturer of game room furniture collections that include bars, bar stools, bar backs, spectator chairs, gathering tables and, of course, billiard tables.
And GreatGatherings, naturally, is the next chapter of the story. This first-of-its-kind store celebrates the art of, well, celebrating.
